You can chain me, you can torture me, you can destroy
this body, but you will never
imprison my thoughts. I object to violence because
when it appears to do good, the good is only temporary, the evil it does is permanent. The weak can never forgive, forgiveness is the attribute
of the strong. The best way to find yourself
is to lose yourself in the service of others. With strong belief in your purpose
even an insignificant being, can change the course of history. I’m ready to die, but there is no reason
for which I’m ready to kill. You are a product of your thoughts, what you think you become. Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do
are in harmony. You must not lose faith in humanity.
Humanity is like an ocean, if a few drops of the ocean are dirty,
the ocean does not become dirty. On Gandhiji’s 150th birth anniversary,
let’s keep his thoughts alive.
