5 NEW 1 Minute Microwave Mug Cakes CELEBRATION! (includes Vegan, Egg-Free & Flourless Recipes)

(Music) Gemma’s Bigger Bolder Baking 1 Minute Mug Cakes Celebration! Hi Bold Bakers! This week, we are celebrating
Mug Cakes. It was not long ago that I posted my first Mug Cake video based on your request.
And since then I’ve made 13 unique Mug Cakes and Cookies, received more than 4 millions
views on those videos all thanks to you. And was even featured on the Dr. Oz. So today
I have 5 brand new flavors for you. So let’s get microwaving! The new flavors I have for you today are going
to be a great addition to your repertoire. And as always, some of them are flourless,
eggless and vegan. Stay tuned throughout the video where I’m going to give you tips and
tricks on how to get the perfect mug cake every time. Our first mug cake up is a beautiful Banana
Bread. It is really moist and made with lovely ingredients. And as a little bonus, it is
flourless and suitable for vegans. In a microwavable mug, we’re going to mash
up our banana nice and small. And then we’re going to add in our flavorless oil, honey
and vanilla extract. And then mix all these ingredients together. The reason this little mug cake is so moist
is because of the fresh banana and the oil. I use coconut oil but you can use any flavorless
oil you like. To this, we’re going to add in our oat flour, baking powder, cinnamon,
and a pinch of salt. And then mix all these ingredients together. Now you don’t have to
go buy oat flour. You can make it yourself so easily by just grinding up some rolled
oats. And if you don’t want to use that, you can always feel free to use regular flour. Lastly, I’m going to add in some frozen blueberries.
If you don’t like them you can leave them out but I think they’re a great addition to
banana bread. Our first little mug cake is ready for the
microwave. Now the timing for these cakes is based on my microwave which is 1200 Watts.
So depending on the wattage of your microwave, your timing may vary. Our mug cake is done and it looks so good.
Now not only is this a perfect dessert but it’s actually a really great breakfast recipe
if you’re on the go and need something fast. This is such a lovely cake that I’m just going
to decorate it with fresh banana and some cinnamon for extra flavor. This is the perfect
treat to start or even end your day. It’s super moist. mmm Our next mug cake up is one of my favorite
flavors and that’s Coffee Cake. I get a lot of request from Irish viewers asking to show
how to make a coffee cake because I think as a nation we love anything that goes well
with a cup of tea. So this recipe is for you guys! In a microwavable mug, we’re going to add
in our egg, milk, and flavorless oil. To get the coffee flavor in my baking, I always
use coffee granules and I dissolve them with a little bit of hot water. Now add your coffee
into your mug and whisk well together. To this mix, we’re going to add in our flour,
baking powder, salt and brown sugar. I’m using brown sugar because I always equate dark coffee
with brown sugar but if you don’t have brown sugar don’t worry about it, you can always
use white. Another delicious mug cake ready for the microwave.
Now before we put it in there, I want to address one question that you most commonly ask which
is why did my mug cake turn out eggy or rubbery and it’s simple. You over-microwaved it. So
next time, less is more. Check on it, and if you think it needs a little more time do
a few more seconds and then you’ll end up with the perfect mug cake. Another mug cake is done and it looks and
smells amazing! I love coffee so much. So one thing I love about these little mug cakes,
and I think you do too, is that you don’t need an oven to make them and they’re single
servings so they’re perfect for dessert or even a little sneaky snack. To serve my coffee cake, I’m going to make
it really BIG & BOLD and make a cappuccino. I’m going to pipe some freshly whipped cream
on top and dust it with a little bit of cocoa powder. You can even take this coffee cake
to go. Our next mug cake flavor is an oldie but a
goodie. It’s Pineapple Upside Down Cake. Just like before, in a microwavable mug we’re going
to add in our egg, oil, milk and vanilla extract, and then mix them all together. To this mix, we’re
going to add in our flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. And mix this all together. Lastly, we’re going to toss some pineapple
in melted butter and brown sugar and then we’re going to carefully lay it on top of
the cake. And of course, a Pineapple Upside Down Cake is not complete without a bright,
glace cherry in the middle. Alright, we are seconds away from another
lovely flavored mug cake. I can’t wait. Another beautiful mug cake done. This little
cake is perfectly served as is. In my opinion, good cakes never go out of fashion. As always, my written recipes are in the description
box below my videos on YouTube. And if you like this mug cake video, then don’t forget
to subscribe to my channel for lots more like it. Our next mug cake up is probably something
you never knew you could make in the microwave and that’s Strawberry Cobbler. In a microwavable
mug, we’re going to add in some fresh diced strawberries. To this we’re going to add in
a little bit of sugar and some vanilla extract and then mix them all together. For our cobbler topping, we’re going to make
it in a separate bowl. You want to add in your flour, oats, cinnamon, baking powder,
and a pinch of salt and then mix them all together. Now pour in your melted butter and stir with
a fork until it resembles large bread crumbs. Once your cobbler topping is mixed, spread
it over your lovely strawberries. Look at how pretty this little mug cake is. It is
so sweet. And feel free to add in some nuts or whatever
you want to your cobbler topping. Ok, ready for the microwave. Look at how pretty this mug cake is. I just
love color of the strawberries. Now you have another unique dessert you can make in the
microwave in just minutes. To serve my cobbler, I like to dust it with
a bit of icing sugar and place a beautiful strawberry on top. This mug cake is light
and perfect for the season. Our next mug cake flavor I’ve been saving
to give you at just the right time and I think this is it. It’s the much-requested, BIG & BOLD
Nutella Mug Cake. Now this is a whole lot of cake. It’s super
chocolatey, moist and perfect for any celebration. Just like before, in a microwavable mug we’re
going to add in our softened nutella, egg, milk, and vanilla extract and then whisk these
all together. Once your nutella is all mixed in and everything is nice and smooth, we’re
going to add in our dry ingredients. Add in your flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking
powder, and a pinch of salt. And then mix all of this together. Oh my gosh, just look
at how chocolatey this is and it’s not even baked yet. My Nutella Mug Cake is ready for the microwave
and it already looks so decadent. Now remember you can always use my Homemade Nutella recipe
for this little cake. Our Nutella Mug Cake is done and it smells so chocolatey. And if
you touch the top of it, you can see how moist it is. This is such an impressive mug cake and it
is perfect to give as a gift to someone that you love. Now just top it off with my No Machine Homemade
Ice Cream and of course some sprinkles on top. So make someone’s day a little bit brighter
and share a mug cake with them. Or just do something nice for yourself. Mmm. If you enjoyed this video then please share
it with a friend and spread the word about my 1 Minute Mug Cakes. Thank you so much for
subscribing to my channel and I’ll see you back here again next Thursday for more Bigger
