Christmas Dinner (song) by Ryan Mescha

The lights were all blinking
1, 2, 3.. The food smelled so good,
and so did the tree. The table was set,
with candle light glowing, as everyone smiled at the thoughts they were knowing. That Santa and Rudolph were on the way, with gifts for loved children, on Christmas Day. With everyone happy and waiting for food, Nothing could change or wreck the mood. Pass the potatoes please, and that gravey thank you, Does anyone know where the Cranberries went too? With silverware shining and friend next to friend, everything was perfect and wonderful then….. BOOM!! Grandpa hit the sliding door! (Boom, Boom)
Grandpa hit the sliding door! (Boom, Boom) Shocked and stunned we looked around,
To find what made that booming sound! Did not get hurt or hit the floor, how it happened, I’m not sure!
But, Grandpa hit the sliding door! ( Boom, Boom) Grandpa hit the sliding door! (Boom, Boom)
Grandpa hit the sliding door! (Boom, Boom) No one knew just what to say, but he kept his food upon his tray! He looked at me, smiled and said,
know that my nose is red, I can help lead Santa’s Sliegh. Grandpa hit the sliding door! (Boom, Boom)
Grandpa hit the sliding door! (Boom, Boom) Face prints etched upon the glass, These memories are going to last! Who said Christmas was a bore,
certainly not anymore, because Grandpa hit the sliding door! (Boom, Boom)
