Dinner: Baked Salmon with Garlic and Dijon – Natasha’s Kitchen


– Hey everyone, it’s Natasha
of natashaskitchen.com, and today I’m so excited to share with you the salmon recipe. It’s a baked salmon that’s
super healthy, super easy, and it’s received hundreds of
awesome reviews on my website. You guys are gonna love this recipe. (upbeat music) The ingredients are easy-peasy. All you need is a couple tablespoons of freshly chopped parsley,
two to three cloves of garlic, half a tablespoon of Dijon mustard, just a pinch of black pepper,
half a teaspoon of salt, two tablespoons of olive oil, and then two tablespoons
of fresh lemon juice. And for the salmon, you need
about a pound and a half of fresh salmon filets, and
I like wild-caught salmon. You know, none of that
artificially-colored stuff. And then for the prep, real quick, we’re going to fire up the
oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. We’re gonna line a rimmed
baking sheet with foil and then brush the top lightly with oil, just to keep the salmon from sticking. So now we’re gonna move on to
this quick marinade recipe. Start by combining all of your ingredients into a small bowl. You wanna chop your parsley. (chopping) (upbeat music) Then press in your garlic cloves. (crushing) Make sure to get all that
goodness in the bowl. Then add your pepper, your salt. Now add the mustard, your olive oil, and
finally, your lemon juice. (upbeat music) So just mix it all
together, and that’s it. So now you’re going to put this mixture over your salmon pieces. So just divide it evenly. (clanking) And we’re gonna brush that
over the top of each piece. Finally, add some fresh slices of lemon, for effect and a little extra flavor. Now you wanna bake it in the
oven for about 12 to 15 minutes or just until it’s fully
cooked through and flaky. Ooh, can’t wait. Oh, the salmon is out of the oven. It smells so good. And now the taste test. Oh. This stuff, I’m tellin’ you. You guys have to try this recipe. Alright, here we go. Mm. Wow. The fish is so juicy,
and incredibly flavorful with the lemon, the garlic, the parsley. Oh, yum. You guys are gonna love this recipe. I’m serving it up with mashed
