DIY Wedding Ceremony Decorations | Dollar Tree Wedding Decorations | Wedding Aisle Decorations

hey guys welcome back today I’m going to
show you how to make wedding aisle decor for your upcoming ceremony here we go okay guys so my mission 4d ceremony I’ll
deport it’s more of a pillar I want it to be decorative for sure where you can
use it down the aisle but I wanted it to be also like multifunctional where you
can use it as pillars that you can place at the entrance or at the head of the
ceremony or you can place flowers right on the top so i’m not sure what i’m
calling it yet but I will figure it out at the end so alright let’s get started
so the very first thing you’re going to do is take out the content from your
picture frame from Dollar Tree this is a tall multi photo picture frame from
Dollar Tree so all you’re going to need is D glass and you can dispose of
everything else and use it for something else make sure to have something to
protect your table and make sure to be careful because I cut myself with the
glass so be very careful once you’ve taken out on the glass from the frame
you should have 12 of them and you are going to make three boxes out of four
glass and you aren’t going to do it together with a six thousand ideally you
will only use e6000 to glue this together but you will have to leave it a
leather bound overnight but for the purpose of this video I’m going to use
both East 6000 and my hot glue gun either way you are still gonna need the
hot glue at the end to make sure to cover the sharp edges but we’ll get to
that in a little bit so for now I’m going to add e6000 to the middle of the
glass just to show you how you would do this and then pretend this is also a 6000 I
just like to you know make sure to repeat that because I don’t want this
falling apart on you now you’re gonna add more hot little to
be corners where deglass me so you can secure it and so you can cover up the
sharp edges my next step is to use diamond wrap to
cover up the imperfections on the box right here on the sides and I’ve already
cut them into strips so I measured and cut and I got the diamond wrap with the
three rows because I’m going to need six rows of diamonds to cover up each edge
so you’re going to need three on this side and then you’re going to need
another three on this one and they’re going to meet right here in the middle
so you’re going to need three and three the other diamond wrap from Dollar Tree
only comes with five so I recommend that you buy the the ones with the three rows
and to run this together or to glue this on the box I’m going to use double-sided
tape now I’m going to add the base to the
pillar and I’m going to be used in this cutting board from Dollar Tree it’s
pretty solid and it’s the perfect size for this box
and I’m going to use e6000 and hot glue I’m going to add these six thousand all
around very neatly and then I’m going to place a little bit of honey right on the
cars perfect now I’m going to start stacking the boxes right on top I’m going to do this underground so I
can have a better view because I want to mess up some all right but this
underground I know you can’t see it but this is the best way to do it okay guys
so here all my boxes glue together I’m a little afraid that you can’t see it
because they see through but you know I just finished aligning the diamond rats
on each box to a line you know to make it look like it’s one thing what a pain
in the behind that was so the best thing for you to do is just to place the
diamond rock at the end wants to stack the boxes together that totally would
have save me some time and effort I’m literally out of my stash of diamond
rock from Dollar Tree so I’m going to use this diamond rock from Michael said
of a long time ago but you can definitely buy Laura diamond reference
our tree and you know just robbed the couldn’t work with this but now I’m just
going to use this and I’m going to measure and cut I’m going to add these six thousand to
the middle and then I’m going to add some hot new to the corners now I’m
going to start attaching my crystals to the back of my top this top is going to
go right on top of the pillar and I am NOT going to glue it Flores do this all
the time so don’t worry about it it’s not going to go anywhere it’s going to
be pretty secure you can always use hot glue to secure it for the day they’ll
come right off after you know your event but yeah it’s totally safe to just place
it right on top and just place your arrangement right on it so now I’m going
to use this ornament that I actually took off from my chandelier in my
dressing room I got these ornament from a store called
Tuesday morning I’m not sure you have it in your city but if you don’t you can
find it at stores like Michaels and Hobby Lobby they should have this as
well ok so I measure how long well this is separate this is my crystals and and
here’s the ornament and I attach them together and I decided that I want this
to be pretty low inside the box or inside the pillar I’m calling a pillar
for now I don’t know what I’m going to call it on you but yeah so I want it to
be this low weight maybe through the front so I like to eat this low in the
middle so I’m going to add some hot glue right in the middle of the cutting board and I’m going to place the piece of a
crystal right in the middle and just hold it there upwards until it dries
oops whenever you need this glue to dry fast it doesn’t and whenever you don’t
want it to dry for a speedups goodness gracious just stay there okay
so for now I’m just going to have one crystal in the inside if I have to add
the other crystals to the outside first to see if I need to add more in the
inside so I’m just going to place it right on top almost looks like a clock and what you
start placing the crystals in the outside I’m just going to add some glue
some hot glue right on the how do you call this the hoops and then I’m going
to place it right under the diamond wrap so I decided to leave the one Christo
with the ornament in the inside and the rest of the crystals in the outside I
have eight crystals in the outside and I have two on each side and D once in the
front and the back are longer than the ones on the sides so then once I decide
are shorter so you can have a little bit of contrast I switch to a silver push
like that I find a dollar tree the other day and I just remembered that I had it
so I place it right inside because it totally goes with the whole arrangement
and now my last thing to do it is going to be to place a little bit of bling
wrap right here on the edges of the vase and that’s gonna be pretty much it
alright guys this is it this is my wedding ceremony decor or my bling
crystal pillar I know what to call it but it is amazing I love it as you can
see I added diamond rack to the bottom of the pillar inside because as I was
you know just wrapping it around the edges it just didn’t seem he seemed like
he was missing something so I went ahead and added some inside and I was
terrified I was so afraid that it was going to shatter but he did it and you
know why I did it because he was supposed to happen it was supposed to be
there so yeah and remember to add the diamond wrap on this side after you have
stocked the boxes you will save yourself some time and effort and make sure to
add some hot glue to the ends so you can secure it other than that that’s it guys

About the author

  1. I did this…smaller version tho. I'm going to use it for my Daughter Surprise Sweet 16 Birthday Party soon…I'll post on IG.

  2. This is so beautiful, but I am confused about cutting the light on at the base of the pedestal. How do you cut it on/or off if it's glued? Or is it supposed to stay on right after you create them? Would the battery die before the ceremony? I'm asking because I honestly don't know, can you please help me to understand, thank you for your patience.

  3. Gorgeous. I wanna make some out of pixie Glass. What are the measurements?
    Love your work. ๐ŸŒธโค๏ธ

  4. Beautiful. Tayra question could i put the light up the top with gems placed around it. And could we use them on the ends of the bride and groom table I m inspired by what's u did an going to share with my nephew bride to be u g๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘

  5. I made my tower but the problem I had was I put in storage and due to heat, the entire thing collapsed. So trying to find a more durable alternative to that glass

  6. Beautiful! How long did this project last? Do you still have the stand? About how heavy is the centerpiece on top?

  7. This is gorgeous but I think I'll use plexiglass because I'm afraid kids will bump it. I love this…I really really LOVE this ๐Ÿ™‚

  8. I really love this project. I'm looking to replicate it in some way but how did you add and access the push light after it was glued to the base?

  9. elegant and the right touch for my wedding. please could you add the link for the floral arrangement. Also a tutorial for the floral arrangemet would appreciate it.

  10. I'm having a hard time finding the cutting broads. Can you use a foam board or would that be strong enough?

  11. what would you suggest to soften the edges besides covering them up with diamond wrap, I love the all clear look

  12. Great idea to save money. Three musts when making this.. tight fitting gloves to keep from getting fingerprints on the inside of the glass (and to keep from cutting yourself), the skinny tip on the E6000, and a high temp glue gun ( the small cheap ones don't always do the trick). Beautiful videos. You've got a subby for life. Chic and cheap.. gets no better.

  13. Thanks, I saw a picture on Pinterest of something like this and after going to a wedding decorator, they wanted to charge me $200 for something like this. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

  14. I am most definitely making at least 4 of these ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

  15. Hi,that are,so gorgeous and I'm going to make two of them to place in my new apartment. I love your creation keep it going tyra. Thanks for sharing.

  16. This is beautiful, however if it should happen to get knocked over, or broken in any way, that picture frame glass shatters into splinters of glass. Is there a safer glass to use?

  17. Is the top plate the same as the bottom you stated it was cutting board right? I'm making this now

  18. What could I use instead of the cutting boards? I have been to 6 different dollar trees and the donโ€™t have them anymore. My wedding is in November

  19. Hi.. I really love this piece and I going to recreate for a wedding style shoot I am doing in September which is going to be outside.. My question to you Is the area I am taking the photos is grassy . so is it anything I can used to make it sturdy at the bottom so it will not fall over ?

  20. Bello yo no hablo inglรฉs pero quiero preguntarte algo donde compras las piezas con que armas el pedestal muy precioso gracias

  21. You could also dump some of the led crystals in the bottom instead of the push light or with the push light put the crystals over it.

  22. Can you use pexiglass? Would it be cheaper to buy it at lowes already pre-cut? By the way its beautifully done thank you for sharing

  23. How did you get the light in there? I was wondering how you would before you glued the bottom in the beginning. It's beautiful and unique.

  24. BEAUTIFUL…. Just one question…..How do u push the light without taking it apart
