Greetings Kentucky Opera! This is Kelly Kitchens
and I’m coming to you from Seattle, Washington and I cannot
wait to be out there next month to direct The Marriage of
Figaro. I love this opera. It is an opera full of humor and heart,
and of course exquisite music. It’s a story that was revolutionary
for its time and remains timeless in its themes.
It’s a story that argues for equality. It’s a story that celebrates
community and ultimately illuminates a path to
forgiveness and joy. We are gonna have such a great time at
the Brown Theater on February, 14th and 16, and I
hope to see you in the audience. But until then, here is
the special bonus item for this hour. See you soon. Happy holidays!
