Key & Peele – Awkward Conversation

– Best comic book adaptation…
– Oh, yeah. – to film hands down.
– It’s–oh, yeah. – No argument.
– Oh, yeah. Oh.
See you later, girls. – All right.
– Oh, yeah. Um, I know I’m in the minority
here, but I don’t really like the Christopher Nolan
Batman
movies. – [scoffs]
– I don’t. I really just feel like
they’re…overrated. Okay. [all laughing] Well, that’s, um,
that’s just an opinion. You see, that’s why
I prefaced it by saying, “I know I’m in the minority.” Awkward. [both snickering] You know, what, no.
No. Not really.
It’s not awkward, at least not until
you said “awkward.” Now it’s awkward,
because of what you said. Anyway. Anyway, what?
Anyway, what? Really, ’cause when you say
“anyway,” then you have to follow it up
with an actual contribution to the conversation
we’re having. – Yikes.
– No, look at me. Look at me. Look at me.
Look at me. Look at me. There’s no “yikes,”
and the reason why there’s no “yikes” is,
there’s nothing scary about this situation, okay? It’s a very low-stakes
situation. – All right. No, not “all right.”
Come here. No. Don’t look at him. Don’t look
at either of those guys. Look at me, all right? “All right,” what? ‘Cause after you say
“all right,” you have to follow that up
with something. Don’t do it. Don’t look at them. Do not look at them. No–No.
Do not look at them. Do not look at them.
Don’t do it. Tell us how you really feel. Okay, you know what?
I’ll tell you how I really feel. Listen, I really feel
like you’re an asshole who has nothing interesting
to say. So what–oh.
No. Don’t. No, don’t look at them.
Turn your head. Turn it.
Right here. Tell me an opinion
that you have about something. Just one opinion that you have
about anything at all. Just share an opinion.
Anything. Share an opinion. Share an opinion.
Share an opinion. Share an opinion right now.
Just off the top of your head. Share an opinion.
Anything. Just one opinion,
that’s all I’m asking. Share one opinion right now. – Share it. Share an opinion.
– Ah, ah, ah… I don’t have an opinion,
and that’s why I just like everything that everyone else
likes in pop culture. [groans] [sobs] [sobbing] Don’t look at me. Don’t look at me!
Don’t look at me! [sobbing]

  1. The funny thing is that, in real life, I don't need "awkward" person to tells others. Like whenever I speak about something, people just shuts up and didn't follow with anything making everything that I said became awkward.

And that's why I prefer to not talk about anything. 😭

  2. Scandalous! Close to treason! Superman 1978 is the best ever, no contest. I am outraged, sirs and madams, outraged!! I may actually weep.

  3. "Dont look at me… DON'T LOOK AT MEEEE "

I legitimately died 5 times laughing my fat ass off here…I almost lost my breakfast…and it's not like I haven't seen this before, but sheesh it gets funnier every damn time 😆🤣😆🤣😆🤣😆🤣

  4. Started watching the video at 0:19, "Yeah Jordan is being really immature…"

Rewatched the video from Keegan's opinion, "ohhhh…kay……"

  5. THIS IS A EVERYDAY situation..but in the scheme of comedy which one was more funny the intelligent guy getting pissed or the goof we all see in real life and can’t stand…THINK ABOUT IT..laughter always wins

  6. Very funny. No, not the skit. The irony of this skit is funny. I don't know who wrote it, Keey or Peele, but I think it's funny how this skit takes the boring and drugged out topic of "The Dark Knight is overrated" for a joke, and then years later Peel makes two successful and acclaimed movies, which became sort-of like The Dark Knight in the modern horror genre, and now there's the same narrative going against those movies and they are also called overrated. In fact, that negative narrative is probably stronger. We've all seen those mock reviews from E;R and others.

  7. I understand Key. Because I feel something like that so I feel like nervous. And I feel sorry for Peele. He didn’t have own opinion,so he tried integrate into a pop culture society.

  8. I actually can relate to this so fucking much as I was in Keys position very often, and acted the exact same way as him. This is just too real!!
The worst part is that Peele's character in this skit is usually just believed and accepted by the masses. Which pisses me the fuck off like, how can people be so blind??

  9. Like trying to have a conversation with nerds. Especially when they try to act all alpha but run and hide at what they see as confrontation, which, no, a differing opinion isn't.

  10. The initial premise of this skit is accurate, save for Heath Ledger's transcendent performance which served to elevate the whole trilogy, the Nolan Batman series was just okay thus overrated.

  11. U.K Parliament: "Listen. We feel loot boxes could possibly be harmful to kids being that part of your customer base is children. These so called 'Loot boxes' or how you like to address them to us as 'Surprise Mechanics' is just out right gambling."

    EA: "Ooook"
