Main opposition party’s filibuster on electoral reform bill ends as of Thursday

now in domestic politics the filibuster
launched by the main opposition Liberty Korea party on Monday and did
automatically as the clock struck midnight as the provisional session of
the National Assembly closed clocking in at a whopping 50 hours the filibuster
was proposed by the main opposition party to delay an electoral reform bill
being introduced on a parliamentary fast-track as the ruling Democratic
party requested the opening of a new extra session the plenary fill session
will vote on the bill proposed by the ruling party three minor parties and one
splinter group however there is speculation the voting procedure will be
delayed by a day considering just how exhausted the members of the National
Assembly’s committees are as they had to stay there for 50 hours straight
during the filibuster
