  1. This is so awesome, as a kid I was too young to remember the Senators and the only baseball I knew was the banner they used to walk around the upper deck of RFK Stadium during Redskins games that said Bring Baseball Back to DC. We finally got the franchise and we endured back to back 100 loss seasons and didn't care because we had baseball and the Nat's were OURS!!!!! We endured 2012 and other playoff failures wondering why we never seemed to catch a break. Well for the first time sine 1933 a Washington DC team will be playing in the WORLD SERIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LETS GO NATS!!!!!!!!!!

  2. What a incredible moment for the DMV. The fignt in this team will go down in history. So happy that this team played as a TEAM. Makes it so much sweeter during football season. Congrats fellow Nats fans. Stay in the fight!!!!

  3. Amazing story that a team 19-31 can end up with this kind of success. That's what's great about baseball. Sometimes teams just catch fire and roll with it…

  4. As a Cardinals Fan I would like to Congratulate you guys on winning the NLCS….. good luck to you guys in the World Series

  5. Chicago Cubs fan here. Just want to say congratulations to the Nationals and all their fans. One more thing Bryce who? He went for the money you guys went on to win the NLCS. Now go bring back the World Series for the National League

  6. The Redskins problem has been solved. They will not win, until they relocate to DC. Snyder learn from the Mystics, Nationals, and Caps, or lose out. LETS GO NATSSSSSSS

  7. That kid that talked about the 12 games under .500 and putting boots on the dodgers got me hyped af! When I tell you that this team brought entire generations together, it would be an understatement. DC will always have heart and pride and anyone who shows that they’re doing their best gets love here. I remember when we were losing 90-100 games that rfk would still be 36+k I’m attendance. We just wanted baseball. Making the playoffs was not something we could’ve imagined. I remember Zimmerman walking off to open up the jewel of our city Nats park. I remember when zimm under the guidance of Frank Robinson and even after frank was gone when the Lerner family came and expanded the community outreach, coming to the schools no matter how rough the neighborhoods and showing the city he and the Nats were everyone’s team. I remember werth coming in and legitimizing us. Strasburgs amazing debut. Mad Max’s no hitters. I remember my old friends who wished they could see this day like my friend Wilbur who said we’d win the pennant when they were 19-31 and I called him crazy. He died june 22. I cried last night. No matter what happens and I strongly believe it’s a World Series title, this team will be remembered forever by this city that watched them grow up from perennial bottom dweller to national league champions enduring so much pain in between.
