[Music] Malaysia is an Southeast Asian country famous for its beaches rainforests and a mix of Malay Indian Chinese and European cultural influences and there’s more to it. Malaysia is home to 32.6 million people with approximately 25 million tourists visiting every year. Kuala Lumpur is a mega city in the world so let’s see what it is like on a New Year’s Eve to be in the heart of the city centre in Kuala Lumpur where 20,000 people will be gathered to celebrate and welcome 2020. I am all set and ready to go. So now we are heading to the LRT station and I will put up the map for all the station stops from Putera Heights all the way to Gombak. I was anticipating the trains to be jam-packed but this one wasn’t well I was still unlucky to have missed it. Then I got him to another one and there you go see it for yourself. I managed maneuver my way to the front to get a great view and in the process made a few good friends. Here meet them. [Music] Hanging like a monkey in the train we finally made it to the station well when there are so many people you always anticipate breakdowns. [Music] The KLCC train station is actually inside Avenue K Mall which is right across the Petronas Towers. There is an underground walkway that leads directly into the Petronas Tower but I chose to take the Avenue K lobby entrance just for this view. I run on caffeine so I needed a shot or two, not to just indulge myself but also to stay awake. Well well the cafe was full of people and a long queue so I decided to skip it. On the way there were so many interesting characters of all age groups. As much as that was amusing I was looking for something else. Drinks and of course food. [Music] Here’s one of my go-to snacks; a fresh grilled corn with butter and some salt. [Music] After zigzagging my way through the crowd I finally came to where there were even more people… The Petronas Twin Towers [Music] So many balloons a lot of bling bling and more balloons well wigs too. And that is the iconic towers of Malaysia the Petronas Twin Towers. From this point onwards the roads were about to get completely blocked people were everywhere. And I was in pursuit of the right spot and here I was where the countdown is about to begin. So stay with me and in 3, 2, 1 here we go HAPPY NEW YEAR 2020 !!! [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] What an amazing night and an amazing show there you go 20 minutes of fireworks for you in just a minute. I was a little bit far from the fireworks but I had a great wholesome view. So that’s all for tonight it was amazing and now I gotta make my way back home and I don’t know how I’m gonna do that and of course I need to collect my corn. [Music] What an amazing night it was and what a trip; I thoroughly loved it and I’m sure you did too but please do mention that in the comments of what you think. And I’ll be making more videos so stay tuned subscribe to my youtube channel and there is a lot more coming in 2020. [Music]
