Ruling party, government to discuss supplementary budget to tackle COVID-19


senior lawmakers from South Korea’s
ruling Democratic Party and officials from the top office will be meeting up
this morning to discuss a supplementary budget to help tackle the kovat 19
outbreak now the exact size of the budget has yet to be determined but
officials are eyeing at least 5.1 billion u.s. dollars president moon
jaein and leaders of the country’s four main political parties last week agreed
on the need for an extra budget to fight the kovat 19 outbreak the government
plans to submit the bill as early as this week with the aim of passing it
before March 17th
