S. Korea’s ruling Democratic Party pushing to pass electoral reform bill on Friday

South Korea’s ruling Democratic Party is
pushing to pass the electoral reform bill during a plenary session expected
to be held on Friday afternoon the party’s leader
Ian Young said on Thursday that the party will seek to pass that bill and
other bills on reforming the prosecution as well as bills related to people’s
livelihoods during the session if it goes ahead as there are some 20 budget
related suppli supplementary bills that need to be passed by the end of the year
the ruling party is expected to / push to pass the electoral and budget related
bills first once those are passed it will move to approve bills to overhaul
the nation’s powerful prosecution
