Seaweed soup with beef/ miyeokguk (korean birthday celebration)


“na so” who has a beautiful mind asked me to share the recipe to cook for parent’s birthday. So I made this for “na so” and you guys! Enjoy! I skipped “Soaking dried seaweed” Soak Seaweed at a big bowl for 10 minutes. And cut it with a scissor. Pre heat a pot over medium heat. Add the perilla oil, and beef Stir well until the beef is partly cooked Add seaweed and stir. When the water from the seaweed boils, pour 1.5 L of water. Bring to a boil over high heat for 5 minutes. after 5 minutes, add all seasoning. Skim off any scum. Lower the heat to medium-low. Boil, covered, for 10 minutes
