THANKS NANCY! Trump Campaign Sends Email To Supporters Celebrating Major Poll Surge

On Wednesday in the midst of the House Democrats
vote to impeach President Donald Trump, the Trump campaign sent out a “THANKS NANCY” email
to celebrate the President’s massive 6 point surge in approval rating. “THANKS NANCY! Donald Trump’s approval rating
surges 6 points,” the title read. “A wave of new polls point to Democrats’ partisan
impeachment sham backfiring and sparking a reckoning in 2020,” the email starts. “This isn’t the grand finale of the impeachment
scam Washington Democrats thought they’d get: hours before their planned vote, public support
for impeachment has collapsed and President Trump’s support is surging,” the Trump campaign
continues. They go on to cite the new polls which show
the President’s approval going through the roof. On Tuesday, President Donald Trump absolutely
shredded Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi in a six-page letter where he accused the
Speaker of cheapening “the importance” of impeachment. “I write to express my strongest and most
powerful protest against the partisan impeachment crusade being pursued by the Democrats in
the House of Representatives,” the President started. “This impeachment represents and
unprecedented and unconstitutional abuse of power by Democrat Lawmakers, unequaled in
nearly two and a half centuries of American legislative history.” At one point during the six page letter, President
Trump scorched Speaker Pelosi for “offending Americans of faith” by constantly saying that
she prays for him. “You are offending Americans of faith by continually
saying ‘I pray for the President,’ when you know this statement is not true, unless it
is meant in a negative sense,” President Trump says in the letter. “It is a terrible thing
you are doing, but you will have to live with it, not I!” President Trump later noted that the Articles
of Impeachment that House Democrats introduced “include no crimes, no misdemeanors, and no
offenses whatsoever.” He also mentioned that Pelosi and her fellow
House Democrats have “cheapened the importance of the very ugly word, impeachment!” “By proceeding with your invalid impeachment,
you are violating your oaths of office, you are breaking your allegiance to the Constitution,
and you are declaring open war on American Democracy,” President Trump said. President Trump and the GOP are standing united
and are making it increasingly clear that they will do whatever it takes to stop impeachment
in the Senate. On Tuesday during a speech on the Senate floor,
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell suggested that he may dismiss the articles of impeachment
against the President directly after the opening arguments. The announcement by McConnell came shortly
after Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer proposed that the Senate should call in more
witnesses who didn’t partake in the House impeachment inquiry. McConnell shredded Schumer while reacting
to his proposal, saying that the Minority leader was attempting to make “Chairman
Schiff’s sloppy work more persuasive.”
