Wizarding World Fans Read-Aloud | A Celebration of Harry Potter 2018

A breeze ruffled the neat hedges of Privet Drive, which lay silent and tidy under the inky sky, the very last place you would expect astonishing things to happen. Harry Potter rolled over inside his blankets without waking up. One small hand closed on the letter beside him and he slept on, not knowing he was special, not knowing he was famous, not knowing he would be woken in a few hours’ time by Mrs Dursley’s scream as she opened the front door to put out the milk bottles, nor that he would spend the next few weeks being prodded and pinched by his cousin Dudley He wouldn’t know that at this very moment, people meeting in secret all over the country were holding up their glasses and
saying in hushed voices: ‘ To Harry Potter – the boy who
lived!’ ‘ To Harry Potter – the boy who
lived!’ [Together] ‘ To Harry Potter – the boy who
lived!’ ‘ To Harry Potter – the boy who
lived!’ ‘ To Harry Potter – the boy who
lived!’ ‘ To Harry Potter – the boy who
lived!’ ‘ To Harry Potter – the boy who
lived!’ ‘ To Harry Potter – the boy who
lived!’

  2. What a wonderful and special world J.K. has created. With all the sadness in the real world we all live in J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World is a beacon of hope. That good can triumph over evil and for that we cannot Thank you enough.

  3. Wow! So much memories. I remembered the last couple of years–during those times between 1999 to 2007, I still remembered the essences of Harry Potter during those times. When I was a child–still today in my heart–I remembered going out to the library and to a book store and I saw a lot of Harry Potter posters everywhere and there were absolutely non-stop talking from readers on how much they've enjoyed being in this fantastical world of Harry's. Thank you, Harry for those magical ten years (1997 to 2007)
